Opening Ceremony of Linxdatacenter in St. Petersburg, Russia 21 October 2011
Linxdatacenter, an international datacenter and connectivity solutions provider, on October 21st launched its state-of-the-art datacenter in Saint Petersburg. It is one of the largest and most advanced facilities of that kind in Russia.
Linxdatacenter, headquartered in Amsterdam and with nine offices in Central and Eastern Europe, focuses strictly on the region, recognizing its great potential and opportunities, especially in the Russian Federation. The Dutch-based holding company has been successfully positioning itself as a bridge between the West and the East, providing the market with the newest technologies, services and know-how. The St. Petersburg’s project is a perfect example of such strategic direction and thriving cooperation between both nations. Hence the Grand Opening Ceremony of the datacenter was performed by the Prime Minister of The Netherlands, Mr. Mark Rutte and a senior official from the Government of the Russian Federation. The occasion was celebrated together with other Russian and Dutch government representatives, such as the Minister of Infrastructure and Environment of The Netherlands and the elite of the business society.
